Patricia M. Wirschem

Rochester: Patricia passed away at St. John’s Home on October 28, 2020 at age 75. She was predeceased by her parents, Socrates Merigis and Sadie Shoen and sister Phyllis Merigis. She is survived by her husband, Lou and her brother, Peter Merigis of Rainier, OR. She was born in Malone, NY and grew up in Potsdam, NY. She then moved to Rochester to begin a long career as a computer programmer and systems analyst for a number of local corporations. Patricia loved to read, share her books with friends, collect movies and quote movie lines. She was the decorator and color chooser; everything had to have feng shui. She will be missed. Her wishes were for no gathering, especially in light of COVID, and for her ashes to be scattered privately in her favorite place. In lieu of flowers, friends may contribute to ABVI, 422 S.
